Cobram District Health has always been closely connected to and supported by its community. For example. the Ladies Auxiliary has played a critical role from the very beginning, raising funds for equipment and, in the early years, even cooking the meals for the hospital. This hands on “muck in and help” attitude has helped shape the health service that Cobram enjoys today.

We have a long tradition of fund raising by local organisations and businesses, which have played a critical role in the development of the current health campus. Organisations such as the Barooga Sporties, Ritchies IGA,  Cobram Barooga Veteran’s Golf Club, RACV, Oasis Village, the Cobram CWA, Cobram Lions Club , Cobram Soroptimists and a number of significant private donors demonstrate the breadth of public support.

Cobram District Health enjoys dedicated volunteers and a vibrant Consumer Advisory Committee. If you would like to help as a volunteer, donate or bequeath to Cobram District Health please contact the Community Engagement Officer on  (03) 5781 0777 (option 6)
